| I have a Clifford matrix 3.5 RS w/glass sensor/proximity sensor/remote start/back-up siren. I love it. The 2 way paging is great. Any reputable shop that carries DEI in your area should have something similar, like the Viper 790XV or the Python 881XP. Let them have all day to work on the car. As an installer myself, when I have the time, I'll do better and neater work. Don't rush them or poke around and bother the installer! :) The DEI 508D prox sensor works well, but because i have it just rear of the center armrest, it doesn't really protect the rear hatch. I'd suggest mounting it at the top of the hump behind the armrest. Rain always triggers the "warn" chirps with my setup. not sure if it's just me. I have the glass (audio) microphone in the unused bose center channel space behind the grill. I gutted the amp and speaker and used the housing for the dual-zone shock and audio sensor. cons: replacement remotes are expensive (80+) try ebay shop around and find an installer that will solder all the wire connections rather than use butt-connectors and t-taps which may corrode/fail over time.
